![]() After getting quotes Reboot Restore is less expensive but we need a dedicated device, while Deep Freeze is more expensive but is truly web-based with apparently more options. I'm currently looking at either Deep Freeze or Reboot Restore Rx and I'd like to hear your advice and experiences. I have things locked down with an admin password and all but students seem to be able to find some small thing I didn't disable and then I have to revisit every computer. I don't want kids about to fiddle with settings and such. ![]() Secondarily, I'd like to be able to manage (particularly testing browser) updates, if possible. Primarily, I'd like to limit student access to a web browser and a few testing browsers. ![]() I was originally looking to set up a DC and all of that (we currently have none), but I realized that this would be overkill given the limited scope of what we're looking to do. We are looking to "lock down" our students' testing computers. I work IT for a medium sized charter school.
